Persian Berries

For the warmest, richest golds, persian berries is a tough act to beat.

Blend with madder for strong oranges and deep khakis can be obtained with a ferrous (iron) sulphate modifier.

The photograph shows 100% wool hand dyed with Persian Berries as follows (from top)
- mordanted with Alum
- modified with iron sulphate
- modified with citric acid (acid)
- modified with sodium carbonate (alkali)
