Valonia Oak

Gentle beiges and soft browns can be obtained from this lovely extract.

Valonia has natural mordanting qualities so needs no additional mordant.

The photograph shows 100% wool hand dyed with Valonia Oak as follows (from top)
- mordanted with Alum
- modified with iron sulphate
- modified with citric acid (acid)
- modified with sodium carbonate (alkali)
