When we first saw this yarn it took our breath away! Gossamer-light yet warm and strong it is hard to believe anyone could spin such a fine thread by hand. Handspun in the traditional way by hill farmers in the mountainous regions of the Ukraine, this yarn has a magical quality. Suggested needle sizes: 1.75mm – 3mm Uses: Ideally suited to the finest shawls and lacework. Approximate length: 500 metres Please note this yarn is handspun so each skein will vary slightly. Also as the yarn is hand spun in a traditional way it is likely that you will find some extraneous vegetable matter spun into your yarn.
