Hand dyed yarn - 55% alpaca 25% wool 20% nylon shrink-resist DK

This gorgeously soft yarn is made from the finest British alpaca yarn. Blended with wool for bounce and a touch of nylon to add strength it knits up to most DK patterns. Shrink-resist treatment makes for easy care (machine wash on a delicate wool cycle) and it also makes great DK-weight socks! If you would like this yarn in its natural undyed state please click here

Our hand dyed yarns are individually hand dyed by Debbie and supplied as skeins. Variation between skeins is part of the charm of these unique yarns as no two are alike. We recommend that you knit hand dyed yarns in imaginary stripes, switching between skeins approximately every three to four rows for the best effect.
