This is an ideal yarn if you are looking for something special, yet affordable. Knitting to DK weight, it can be substituted in most DK patterns. Very good handle and a delight both to knit and to wear. Also good for soft furnishings. Suggested needle sizes: 4mm-7mm. Uses: Jackets, sweaters, scarves, hats, gloves, shawls, wraps, shrugs, cushion covers, lightweight blankets and coverlets. Lovely stitch definition and suited to a wide range of stitches from simple garter stitch or double crochet, to fancy stitches, cables and lacework. If you would like to order this yarn in its natural undyed colour please click here In this range Debbie has included semi-solid shades as well as hand painted hues. Semi-solid shades are single colour yarns but, because they are individually hand-dyed, they still have subtle variations in shade within the skein making them just that bit more special. Our hand dyed yarns are individually hand dyed by Debbie and supplied as skeins. Variation between skeins is part of the charm of these unique yarns as no two are alike. We recommend that you knit hand dyed yarns in imaginary stripes, switching between skeins approximately every three to four rows for the best effect.
