Hand dyed yarn - 100% wool slub (DK)

Fun to work with, this slubby yarn needs no pattern to give it an interesting texture.

Suggested needle sizes: 4.5mm – 9mm

Uses: sweaters, vests, bags, cushions, afghans. For a lovely soft handle, knit with larger needles (7mm upwards suggested). Smaller needles will give a firmer fabric which can be used to make delightful textured cushions or bags.

Our hand dyed yarns are individually hand dyed by Debbie and supplied as skeins. Variation between skeins is part of the charm of these unique yarns as no two are alike. We recommend that you knit hand dyed yarns in imaginary stripes, switching between skeins approximately every three to four rows for the best effect.
