New hand dyed yarns, hand dyeing kits and special offers!

The Spring 2008 issue of Simply Knitting magazine features two new patterns from Debbie - a fabulous entrelac cushion and her Jacobs Ladder toe up socks - so to celebrate we have put all the featured products on special offer!

Debbie's cushion is knitted using the entrelac technique. Derived from a French term, meaning interwoven or interlaced, at first glance, entrelac knitting looks like it belongs in an Escher painting. The three-dimensional effects look like an optical illusion as the colours and shapes weave in and out and it is a puzzle how the pieces fit together. Rest assured, however, that the mysteries of those magical shapes will be revealed when you follow the simple instructions to knit up this great cushion.

Debbie has produced a new range of hand dyed 100% pure wool (super chunky) yarns ideal for knitting your entrelac cushion and as an introductory offer we're reducing the price by 10% - that's £5.50 per 100g skein instead of the usual price of £6.10. For more information or to order our hand dyed pure wool super chunky yarn online please click here.

We are also launching an entrelac cushion cover dye-it-yourself kit to make a cushion cover in your own unique hand dyed yarn. The kit contains all the undyed yarn, Procion dyes and fixers, gloves, an apron, full instructions and the knitting pattern! For a limited period we are offering the kit with 10% off at only £27 - saving you £3 off the full price of £30. For more information or to order our Weave entrelac cushion cover dye-it-yourself kit online please click here

Debbie's Jacobs Ladder socks are knitted toe up and are a great challenge for a new sock knitter or a fun knit for a confirmed sock addict! A delicate lace pattern flows from the toe and each lace panel has a simple border to add empasis and create a ladder-like effect.

We're offering a saving of £1 off our hand dyed alpaca nylon sock yarn for those of you who want to knit with Debbie's gorgeous hand dyed yarn - that's £7.50 instead of the usual price of £8.50 for a 100g skein. Debbie has also designed six fabulous new colourways in this exclusive DT Crafts yarn including the Autumn Berries shade used in Simply Knitting. All six colours are now available online. For more information or to order our alpaca nylon sock yarn online please click here

If you've want to create your own unique hand dyed yarn then now is the time to try as we're also cutting £1 off the price of our Kool Aid Jacobs Ladder Toe Up sock kit which includes 100g of our undyed alpaca/nylon sock yarn, 12 Kool Aid sachets in six fabulous colours, gloves, an apron, full instructions, the knitting pattern and even comes in a microwavable container! All of this for only £9 saving £1 on our usual price of £10. Kool Aid dyeing is very easy and lots of fun making it an ideal introduction to hand dyeing.
