Do you hate sewing seams? Knitting in the round isn't just good for knitting socks, it's perfect for all sorts of garments, drqstically reducing or even eliminating the time you have to spend making up. Debbie Tomkies' "Round Robin" child's top, featured in the May 2010 issue of Simply Knitting magazine, is worked in the round for a virtually seamless knit - the only sewn joins are at the shoulders. "Knitting in the round is often quicker as, with a stocking stitch garment, all rows are knitted - there are no purl rows" says Debbie.
