Do you hate sewing seams? Knitting in the round isn't just good for knitting socks, it's perfect for all sorts of garments, drqstically reducing or even eliminating the time you have to spend making up. Debbie Tomkies' "Round Robin" child's top, featured in the May 2010 issue of Simply Knitting magazine, is worked in the round for a virtually seamless knit - the only sewn joins are at the shoulders. "Knitting in the round is often quicker as, with a stocking stitch garment, all rows are knitted - there are no purl rows" says Debbie. But don't worry if you're confused by knitting in the round or have never tried this technique before. Debbie has written a How To feature to accompany her pattern with clear step by step photos to esnure you'll soon have mastered the technique. Debbie's pattern uses our undyed and hand dyed Lambswool Angora Cashmere (DK) yarn and we're offering both yarns at a very special price. Our undyed Lambswool Angora Cashmere (DK) yarn is on offer at £4 per 50g - saving 90p per ball, a saving of over 18%! For more details or to order please click here Each skein of our hand dyed Lambswool Angora Cashmere (DK) yarn is individually hand dyed by Debbie to create a unique yarn. There are nine new colourways in this range and Debbie has included semi-solid shades as well as hand painted hues. Our hand dyed Lambswool Angora Cashmere (DK) yarn is on offer at £7 per 50g - saving 90p per skein, saving over 10%!
