If you are new to natural dyeing our starter kits are an ideal way to begin. Our Natural Dyeing Starter and Deluxe kits include a selection of Earthues and Hue & Dye natural dye extracts, mordants (fixers) for both animal and plant fibres, colour modifiers, an accessory pack and full instructions. Our Indigo & Woad Natural Dye Kit All you need to add is some basic household equipment and water.

Indigo & Woad Natural Dye Kit

• 25g Earthues indigo extract
• 10g Hue & Dye woad extract
• 100g thiourea dioxide
• 125g sodium carbonate
• accessory pack (gloves, apron, measuring spoon)
• full instructions

Enough to dye 1kg of yarn, fabric or fibre!

Natural Dyeing Starter Kit

• 10g each of Earthues lac, madder and fustic dye extracts
• 10g each of Hue & Dye logwood purple and teal extracts
• 125g of alum and 25g of aluminium acetate mordants
• 100g ferrous sulphate (colour modifier)
• accessory pack (gloves, apron, measuring spoon)
• full instructions

Enough to dye 500g of plant fibre and 500g of animal fibre!

Natural Dyeing Deluxe Kit

• 25g each of Earthues lac, madder and fustic dye extracts
• 25g each of Hue & Dye logwood purple and teal extracts
• 250g of alum and 50g of aluminium acetate mordants
• four colour modifiers: 100g ferrous sulphate, 100g copper sulphate, 125g citric acid and 125g sodium carbonate
• universal indicator pH papers
• accessory pack (gloves, apron, measuring spoon)
• full instructions

Enough to dye 1kg of plant fibre and 1kg of animal fibre!
