The Wool Experience 2013

Last year was our first time at The Wool Experience and we were a little anxious as to whether we had made the right decision to plan another show the week after Woolfest. However while Woolfest shares its weekend with the Glastonbury Festival which seems to guarantee a downpour or two the Wool Experience must have a lucky charm as both last year and this were glorious hot and sunny days.

The Wool Experience has a lovely atmosphere and if you’ve never been you’ve missed out on a special day. There are a good variety of traders and shearing demonstrations throughout the day but there is also space to simply sit and spin with friends or be inspired by the skilled demonstrations of Great Wheel spinning from Diane. The Wool Experience is a great way for us to recharge our batteries after Woolfest and if we weren’t there as traders we’d be there as visitors.

We have to mention as well the beautiful location of Blaize farm which is a day out in itself just to taste their delicious and unique home made ice cream. Make sure you book the Wool Experience 2014 in your diary now!
