An Introduction to natural dyeing with Earthues natural dye extracts ***NOW BOOKING*** |

If you've ever fancied natural dyeing but have been put off by thoughts of grinding up barks, bugs and fungi, this is the course for you! Simple to use and extremely versatile, Earthues extracts are fully intermixeable powders and pastes which can be used to produce a wonderful range of colours. This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as for those who have some dyeing experience but would like to try natural dyeing. In this fun-packed, friendly day you will learn how to mordant (fix) fibres, and dye luscious, solid shades. There will also be the opportunity to try your hand at rainbow dyeing and colour blending. All materials are provided and you will go home with a lovely range of colour samples and a head buzzing with exciting ideas for experimenting with colour! The workshops run from 10am - 4pm and cost £40. £10 deposit is payable to reserve your place with the balance due one week before the course date. Venue: The Scout Hall, Woodbourne Road, Sale, Cheshire How to get there: The hall is accessible by public transport, being a short walk from Brooklands metrolink station and with regular buses from Manchester City Centre and surrounding areas.
