Kit 3A - Rustic cushion cover (part-dyed)

This large cushion is knitted in stocking stitch in dramatic, but simple, stripes. The front is made in three sections stitched together. The back is knitted in two pieces which are designed to overlap to allow a cushion pad to be inserted.

Two version of this project kit are available. This version, Kit A, uses a combination of hand-dyed and undyed yarn. We also produce a separate version, Kit 3B, where all the yarn is hand-dyed. Click here for more information

Finished size: 50cm (20ins) square.

The kit includes:

  • 1080g 100% pure wool (super chunky)
  • 4 x 5g Procion MX dyes of your choice
  • fixer
  • accessory pack (gloves, apron, measuring spoon)
  • full instructions and knitting pattern

In addition, you will need:

  • water
  • salt
  • one pair of 6mm knitting needles (US 10, old UK size 4)
  • one pair of 5.5mm knitting needles (US 9, old UK size 5)
