This yarn looks rather uninspiring and you may even notice a slightly strange smell! Don't be put off, however. A quick rinse with a little washing up liquid or gentle soap flakes will remove any residual colouration in the yarn. You will then have an interesting textured yarn which is easy to work with. Suggested needles: 3.75mm – 5mm Uses: Hats, scarves, jackets and some garments, bags and homewares. As the yarn is textured, fancy stitch patterns are not required. This yarn is perhaps a little stiff for some garments, but may be a good choice for a jacket or vest where soft drape is not required or appropriate.
