Handspun in South Africa as part of a job creation scheme this is a special yarn with no two balls being identical. The angora/mohair blend gives the soft haze of angora with the beautiful lustre and strength of mohair. The two fibres take up dye at different rates allowing you to create both deep and soft tones from a single shade. Suggested needle sizes: 4.5mm needles upwards, depending on how firm a fabric is required. Uses: Lovely for wraps, scarves, shawls, sleeveless vests and light sweaters. Very warm to wear use larger than normal needles for the weight of yarn and an open, simple stitch for best effect.
