Bluefaced Leicester alpaca bouclé (DK)

A soft yarn knitting to approximately DK weight in a lovely blend of supersoft alpaca and rare-breed Bluefaced Leicester with a small amount of nylon to create the yummy fuzzy texture. Suggested needle sizes: 4mm – 6mm Uses: Simple shapes and stitches bring out the best in this yarn. On larger needles (6mm up) this yarn makes lovely lightweight jumpers and cardigans. Fuzzy, snuggly throws also look great in this yarn. Choose a smaller needle (4mm or so) for a firmer fabric which is perfect for light, yet warm jackets or for textured bags. It's also good for funky doll hair or knitted “fur” for soft toys.
