A rich, naturally ochre-coloured silk which, despite its colour, takes darker dyes to great effect. A strong yarn with no elasticity and quite a “string-like” texture. Suggested needle sizes: 2.75mm – 3.5mm Uses: Ideal for stitchwork, embellishing and canvaswork. An interesting yarn to add texture to tapestry weaving. Not recommended for a whole garment but could be incorporated into knitwear as an accent yarn. Would look effective incorporated into soft furnishings, bags or belts.
