A rich, naturally off-white/grey coloured silk which, despite its colour, takes dyes to great effect. A strong yarn with no elasticity and an interesting slightly 'neppy' texture. Suggested needle sizes: 3.5mm-4.5mm Uses: Knitting to most double knitting patterns this yarn may appear uninspiring but produces lovely muted shades when dyed. Whilst not having the lustre of other silks it has a great slubby texture and drapes well.
