This gorgeously soft yarn is made from the finest British alpaca. Blended with wool for bounce and a touch of nylon to add strength it knits up to most DK patterns. Shrink-resist treatment makes for easy care (machine wash on a delicate wool cycle) and it also makes great DK-weight socks! Suggested needle sizes: 3mm (socks), 3.5mm – 5mm (garments and accessories) Uses: A beautifully soft, yet practical yarn, it will knit fabulous jumpers, jackets, babywear, blankets, hats, mitts and scarves. Ideal for sensitive skins. Knit on smaller needles (3mm) for gorgeously soft DK weight socks.
