Did you know that dyes can be thickened for printing?
This delightful selection of handmade wooden blocks is ideal for you to try your hand at simple blockprinting onto fabric with our Procion dyes, (fix the dyes with sodium carbonate) thickened with Manutex or use gum tragacanth for a smoother paste and finer detailing.
Alternatively, our natural dye extracts and Botanical Colors liquid dye extracts are also great for printing. Blend with gum tragacanth for best results.
You can also use our wooden blocks with fabric paints or blend acrylic paints with fabric medium. Use on paper, card, wood and lots more besides!
