We're delighted to say that we shall be at the Great Northern Textile Show again this year!

This event is a celebration of all things textiles, showcasing a range of traders, artists and textile groups from across the North of England.
The curated event will have over 20 traders of fabrics, threads, knits, patterns, accessories and more. Plus, a selection of the traders will be demonstrating their wares, showing you how to get started in knitting and how to use the loom.
Alongside the traders will be exhibitions from three local textile artists who will be displaying and selling their work. There will be everything from embroidery, to applique and more!
The event takes place at the BeActive leisure centre (formerly the George Carnell leisure centre) in Manchester. If you're travelling with family, it's just a stone's throw from the Trafford Centre, Dino Golf, Snow Factore and the Driving range and only a short trip into Manchester centre or nearby Altrincham so plenty to do for the non-fibre folk!

Organizer of Great Northern Textile Show
Debbie loves to teach and has been a textile artist and designer for over 30 years so you'll be able to pick her brains for tips, tricks and hacks! Debbie has 5 internationally published books, has designed for Knit Now, Simply Knitting, Inside Crochet, Crochet Now, Simply Crochet and other magazines. She has been teaching textiles all over the UK and overseas for over 15 years.
Our workshop sessions are designed to be fun and enjoyable and you'll can expect to take home a number of small projects. The pace is relaxed and the small group size means there's time for individual attention, questions and chat.
