About this workshop
On this exciting workshop I’ll be introducing you to indigo dyeing using tie dye techniques and patterning on fabric.
In this fun-packed, friendly session, you will learn all about the magic that is indigo dyeing! Try your hand at solid colours, tie dye, resist and simple shibori techniques on fabric.
The aim of the session is to enjoy a taster of a range of techniques rather than an in-depth session on a specific topic and it’s all very straightforward and easy-going. At the end of the day you’ll have a lovely set of hand-dyed cotton fat quarters, perfect to incorporate into your quilting, patchwork, textile arts and mixed media projects. You'll also be dyeing a cute cotton tote to take home - great for all those shopping essentials.
All materials including dye, fabric and a tote bag are provided as part of the workshop. Refreshments are also included.
A special 10% discount voucher is also included. This can be used for purchases on the day or for your next online order.
This workshop is £50 including all materials.
This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners and is also great for dyers in need of a refresher or just to have a little 'me time' to play with new ideas!
This is a course for over 18s. We may be able to accommodate accompanied younger participants but please ask before booking.
This workshop also makes a great choice for a baby shower, leaving gift, wedding celebration, birthday party. Private group bookings can be arranged on request.
This is an in person course and will be hosted at Debbie's studio at A4 studios and AIR Gallery in Altrincham, Cheshire.
About the classes

Make & Take sessions are designed to be fun and enjoyable and you'll take home something special that's ready to use. The pace is relaxed and the small group size means there's time for individual attention, questions and chat.
