These yarns can be easily dyed with our procion, acid, & natural dyes, including indigo and woad. You don’t need special skills – just a few items of equipment (most of which you can raid from your kitchen – just don’t use it for food afterwards).

75% Extrafine Merino wool/20% silk/5% silver stellina laceweight (100g) [800m]
- A fine yarn with a subtle, silky sheen, soft handle and a very slight halo. The silver stellina adds a hint of sparkle!
- Uses: This yarn makes beautiful lightweight shawls, wraps and fine accessories.
- We suggest needle sizes: 2mm-3mm.
50% Extrafine Merino wool/50% silk laceweight (100g) [800m]
- As soft as butter next to the skin, this fine yarn has a stunning, silky sheen, soft handle and a very slight halo. It is a delight to knit or crochet with.
- Uses: Perfect for shawls and delicate wraps.
- We suggest needle sizes: 2mm-3mm.
70% Light grey alpaca/20% silk/10% cashmere laceweight (100g) [800m]
- A medium weight lace yarn with 800m to the skein, this fine yarn is a beautiful blend of the softest natural grey alpaca, a generous helping of silk and a dash of the most luxurious cashmere. Probably our most squooshable yarn!
- This yarn will dye beautifully with any of our dyes and the softness of the grey gives beautifully delicate, gently muted colours.
- Pefect for: This yarn is perfect for shawls and delicate wraps. It will also make gorgeous drapy tops and light sweaters.
- We suggest needle sizes: 2mm-3mm.
72% kid mohair/28% silk laceweight (50g) [400m]
- A medium weight lace yarn with 420m per 50g skein (please note this is not a 100g skein), this fine singles yarn is beautifully soft and drapy with a silky sheen, soft handle and a very slight halo. The addition of a generous 28% silk gives it a vibrant feel.
- This yarn will dye beautifully with any of our dyes.
- Pefect for: This yarn is perfect for shawls and delicate wraps. It will also make gorgeous drapy tops and light sweaters.
