Course level:
One to one sessions are suitable for absolute beginners, intermediate and experienced knitters as well as those who may be thinking about developing their skills commercially as a designer, pattern tester or tech editor.
This is a course aimed at over 18s. Younger students are welcome if accompanied by an adult but please mention this when booking.
Where?
This is an in person course and will be hosted at Debbie’s studio in Altrincham, Cheshire.
We’re just a stone’s throw from the Metrolink, bus station and train station so easily accessible by public transport. We’re only a short drive from the motorway and there is on-street parking nearby and a multi-storey carpark a short walk away. Our facilities are accessible, being on the ground floor, however, as a complex of old engineering sheds, the floors can be a bit uneven. The studios have an adapted bathroom.
When?
One to one sessions are available by arrangement with daytime, evening and a limited number of weekend slots.
About the classes

As it will be your exclusive session, there’s lots of flexibility to learn what you want at your pace.
Keen to learn to knit but can’t attend in person?
No problem! We are delighted to be able to offer online classes live via zoom where you can enjoy a tutorial session from the comfort of your own home or studio. As the session is live you’ll be able to ask questions and Debbie will be demonstrating techniques on screen.

Debbie says... I love teaching workshops and courses – part of the pleasure of doing something I love for a living is in knowing that other people have shared my passion and enthusiasm, learned something new, had lots of fun and generally had a good time! Teaching is a learning process for the tutor as much as for the students so I like to keep a comments book for feedback. Here are some of my favourite excerpts…
