Our range of dye kits has been carefully put together to offer a great introduction to hand-dyeing.

Dyeing plant fibres

Our procion dye kits which are great on both plant and animal fibres. These dyes give fabulous, vibrant results and can be used for lots of different techniques including ombre, dip-dye, fades, gradients, solid colour, speckles, tie-dye, block printing and screenprinting. Use on plant fibres for ice-dyeing, shaving foam and marbling.

Dyeing animal fibres

Our acid and procion dye kits give excellent results on animal fibres like wool, alpaca, silk, cashmere, angora. Acid dyes will also dye nylon. You can use these dyes for handpainting, ombre, speckles, gradients, fades and more. Soft, subtle shades, pastels or eye-popping brights are all possible!

Natural dyeing

If you are interested in getting bavk to nature we also have a lovely selection of natural dye kits.

I write the instructions for all our kits with the beginner in mind but with ideas for experimenting too.

Our kits make great gifts as they include dyes, fixers (mordants), full instructions, a measuring spoon and gloves.
