Learn how to make a simple, crocheted granny square!

Debbie will guide you through all the essential steps in her friendly, relaxed workshop. Whether you’re an absolute beginner, need a refresher or are simply looking for a fun, relaxing crochet session, you’ll have a super time.

Course level:

No crochet skills are required – Debbie will be starting right at the beginning. Have some experience or returning to crochet? This course is also a great refresher.

What you will learn:
  • Slip knot
  • Foundation chain
  • Chain stitch
  • Slip stitch
  • Double crochet
  • Treble crochet
  • Finishing
  • How to follow a simple writtern crochet pattern
  • Tips and tricks for avoiding common mistakes (and how to fix them!)

All materials are included – we provide quality materials – lovely yarn, crochet hook, comprehensive professionally illustrated photo handouts and two crochet square patterns. We also include tea, coffee and biccies!

About your tutor:

Debbie is the resident technical knitting expert with Knit Now magazine and has been a designer and crocheter for over 25 years so you’ll be in good hands! Debbie is the author of four knitting books: Hand-dyed Yarn Craft Projects, How to Knit (with 27 online videos), Knitting – Learn it.Love it. and 250 Knitting Stitches.
