Rainbows from Nature – An Online Introduction to Natural Dyeing with Natural Dye Extracts with Debbie Tomkies

Join me for my latest online workshop, dyeing with natural dye extracts.

About the workshop

In conjunction with The Loom Shed, I’ll be teaching this one-day workshop online. Join from the comfort of your own home/studio and dye along with me.

There’ll be time for practicing techniques, asking questions and lots to interest everyone – from complete beginners to more experienced dyers.

Materials

I’ve put together a special pack for the course. Select the essentials dye extracts pack if you already have your mordants and yarn (we’ll be using alum for our animal fibres, aluminium acetate if you are working with plant fibres).

Alternatively, select the deluxe pack and you will receive the dye extracts, mordant, yarn, measuring spoon and syringes.

You can also buy the items for the workshop individually if you prefer. Ideal if you already have a stash of dyes and just need a top-up!

Tickets

Head over to The Loom Shed page where you can find out more and book your place! I’ll look forward to seeing you!

Spread the love with a share!

It's Holiday Time!

Last posting dates:

We’ll be posting those stocking fillers and last-minute gifts (we’ve all been there!) for orders placed before 12.30pm on 23rd December. However, last posting date is 21st December so it may be that orders may not arrive in time for the ‘big day’. If you need a last-minute gift or you’re not sure what to get we do have gift vouchers in the shop!

Christmas holiday

As it’s Christmas we are then taking a bit of a break and the shop will be closed until 4th Jan 2026.You may still place orders (simply close this window with the ‘X’ or escape to return to the shop) but we will not start dispatching orders until 4th January.

Thank you!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for your support and custom this year. Your support for small businesses like ours is very much appreciated.

Last but definitely not least, we wish you all a peaceful and restful festive break and hope to be able to say thank you in person in 2026!

Love, Debbie & Pete xx
