It’s busy here at the DT Crafts HQ as we’re off to the Association of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers Summer School at Askham Bryan College near York next week. I’m teaching a week long workshop called ‘Dyeing: A Technique (or Two!) a Day’. I’ve put together an exciting week of sampling, designing colourways, learning about colour blending and using a whole host of fun technques for my 18 students. I love Summer School as it’s a great chance to get deep into the skills whilst meeting lots of great fibre-y folk!

We’ll also have the DT Crafts stand at the Trade Fair. It’s on Saturday 10th August, 10am-4pm and is open to all. Lots of stalls and the opportunity to see the fabulous work of the students and to find out what Summer School is all about.

For more details visit the AGWSD Summer School website. Hope to see you there!

Spread the love with a share!
