City & Guilds accredited programmes in knitting and design starting September!
We are delighted to announce that we have joined the Artybird flock and will shortly be launching two amazing new professionally accredited distance learning knitting programmes.
Our Introductory Creative Skills – Knitting course is a 30-hour supported self-study programme you can complete in your own time.
The Foundation Creative Studies – Knitting is a more in-depth 120 hour structured programme that runs over the course of 12 months with regular one-to-one virtual tutorials and group sessions.
Both programmes are accredited by City & Guilds as an affiliate centre of Artybird Carnforth.
Debbie will be teaching the two new programmes which will both be available to study via distance learning so you can learn from the comfort of your own home at a time and pace to suit you. There’s no pressure and Debbie will be there to assist and guide you throughout your learning journey.
Whether you are a brand new knitter, aspiring designer or a more experienced knitter who would simply like to consolidate their skills, you will love these new programmes. And, if you would like to be recognised for your achievements, the programmes are formally accredited with an internationally recognised organisation, City & Guilds.
These new programmes will be run through our new venture, Making Futures, and the first intake will be in September 2020.
