We are delighted to announce that we have joined the Artybird flock and are now able to offer two amazing new, professionally accredited distance learning knitting programmes.

Introductory Programme

Our Introductory Creative Skills – Knitting course is a 30-hour supported self-study programme you can complete in your own time over a period of 12 months.

Enrolment

Enrolment for the Introductory programme is available at any time and you can find out more and enrol here.

Foundation Programme

The Foundation Creative Studies – Knitting is a more in-depth 120 hour structured programme that runs over the course of 12 months with regular one-to-one virtual tutorials and group sessions.

Enrolment

We have two intakes for the Foundation programme, September and January. For more information about the Foundation programme and to enrol or to register your interest, please click here.

About the programmes

Both programmes are accredited by City & Guilds as an affiliate centre of Artybird Carnforth.

Debbie teaches the two new programmes which are both available to study via distance learning so you can learn from the comfort of your own home at a time and pace to suit you. There’s no pressure and Debbie is there to assist and guide you throughout your learning journey.

Whether you are a brand new knitter, aspiring designer or a more experienced knitter who would simply like to consolidate their skills, you will love these new programmes. And, if you would like to be recognised for your achievements, the programmes are formally accredited with an internationally recognised organisation, City & Guilds.

These new programmes are run through our sister company, Making Futures CIC and you can find out more about Making Futures here.
