It doesn’t get more snuggly than this undyed 70% alpaca/30% wool chunky yarn! Lightweight, warm and cosy this gorgeous yarn makes is a natural alternative to synthetic ‘fleece’ fibres.. This undyed yarn is beautiful in its natural colour but it looks equally beautiful dyed with our acid, procion mx (fibre reactive), natural or indigo dyes. It has a soft halo which makes it ideally suited to soft, muted colours.
Uses: This yarn is ideal for bold, textured garments, accessories and (of course) teddy bears!

Top tip:
‘If you are hand-dyeing this yarn and are looking for a deeper shade, make sure you ‘cook’ it to a high temperature as the colour intensifies with the heat. It is surprisingly tolerant of heat, just be careful not to overhandle while it’s hot and allow it to cool completely before rinsing in warm water’.
